Pedro Lozano Gomez is a choreographer and dancer from Barcelona. Moved by a passion to interpret and create at a very young age, he began studying dance professionally at the age of 13.

After winning first prize at the dance competition of Ciudad de Castellon, he left Spain at the age of 19 to move to Paris and begin his professional career at the Jeune Ballet de France in 2001. He then began exploring more modern dance at the Nordharzerstadbuntheater in Germany where he worked for two years. In the hopes to remain polyvalent, both classical and modern, he accepted a contract at the Ballet du Capitole in Toulouse, France, directed by Nanette Glushack where he spent four years dancing and creating works.

In 2007, he joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders in Belgium where he worked under the direction of Kathryn Bennetts for six years. 

On his career as a dancer he was able to work with choreographers such as Kylián, Forsythe, Godani and Elo. As well as performing works from Balanchine, Cranko and others.

Pedro then decided to focus on his creations, signing choreographies in Belgium, Italy, UK, Germany and the United States.

During the COVID19  crisis, he kept himself creative by working online with dancers around the world for a limited series of solos and duets called « Room series choreography ».

On June 20th of 2020, he won first prize at the Online Choreographic Competition, for his piece Time Fraction. 

In January 2021 he created Ounce of Found for the international guest Principal dancer Fernando Montaño, and later, got awarded 

Best solo performance at the Espoo Digi-Dance International in Finland on March 12th 2022. Currently it’s possible to view the piece at evrgn streaming platform. On the 27^thof January 2024 became Winner of Best choreography at Cannes World Film Festival 2024.

Since then, Pedro has continued his career as an international choreographer, giving workshops around France, Italy, Switzerland, and Belgium, as well as creating ballets for Delattre Dance Company in Germany, Eko Dance Project in Italy, Ballet Xtreme in Switzerland , Jersey Ballet in UK, Human Bodies at Art garage in Naples Italy, Dance Area in Switzerland, Spoleto Festival in Italy, Arts Heal Gala in Florida, and Cannes World Film Festival.
